Welcome to the Ohio High
School Golf Coaches Association web site.
The
purpose of this web site is to provided needed information to
coaches, players, and fans of Ohio high school golf. You may select
from the drop pages provided to assist you in finding the
information that you may need.
For the coaches, we have a page that will provide you with the
latest minutes from the Association's Board
meetings, a listing of all State
and District Association officers, and news
on the State clinic held each year in May.
On Jan 17, at the Board of Controls
meeting, the Board unanimously approved two
divisions for girls' golf beginning with the upcoming 2008 fall
season. This is the second year of the
two year cycle, so as is the case with all sports,
recalculation will occur again following the completion of the
2008-09 school year.
There were 262 girls' golf teams in the
2007-08 season.
The numbers for divisions for the upcoming
season will be as follows:
Division l - 347 girls and higher
Division ll - 346 girls and lower
Anyone wishing to check enrollment figures for
determining which division
they or other schools will be in may log onto
the OHSAA website
to find out.

Girls: Please note: All state
qualifying tournaments are a week

Practice rounds will be held at the respective
sites on the Thursday preceding the
State
Tournament.
Also available for everyone, is a page listing the names of those
honored by the Association's Hall
of Fame. New members may be profiled on this page when
additions are made.
We have also provided you with a link
page to assist your connections to such sites as
O.H.S.A.A., U.S.G.A., rules interpretations, and District Athletic
Boards. A new addition is a brochure describing
Coach's Caddie, a scoring software
program written by Ohio HS golf coaches, for use by golf coaches to
aid in keeping statistics and scoring high school golf matches.
We hope that this site in some way can assist you. If you have a
suggestion or request, please address them to your District
representative on the Executive Board.
